Which Dog Training Program is Right For You?

The Difference Between Private Lessons
and Group Lessons
Private lessons allow the training to be specifically tailored to you and your dog in your home setting. Private lessons are great for solving problem behaviors in the home such as bolting toward the door, barking, and jumping on guests for example.
Group classes allow you to get a great start on communicating with the dog by learning cues such as stay, come, heel, and leave it for example. Group classes are also beneficial in that your dog will be trained in an environment with other dogs. This is great for socialization and distraction training.

Which Program Should I Choose?
We find that if you have owned the dog for over a year, private lessons are generally the way to go. If you have recently acquired the dog and are not experiencing any problems with the dog, we recommend group lessons unless a more intensive training program is what you are striving for in which we recommend privates.
