Beginner’s Class
Basic Canine Communication

This class is designed for puppies from 3-12 months of age. Socialization to other dogs and people is a major focus. Specific obedience commands will also be taught. We will show you how to build a positive rapport with your dog by way of showing you how to create an effective communication system with your dog. Focus areas include:
Advanced Canine Communication
6 1-Hour Classes $119
Prerequisite: 2 previous training classes by Charleston’s School For Dogs or an approved training facility.
Dogs must be at least 8 months. Dogs must be well socialized with other dogs.
In this class we will cover techniques that will enable you to have control of your dog without the use of a leash during class. The class is conducted completely off leash with all dogs. Hand signals, focus work, and training in high level distraction are focal points.

Intermediate Canine Communication
6 1- Hour Classes $119
Canine Good Citizen Title Available
Prerequisite: Basic Training Class by Charleston’s School For Dogs or an approved training facility. Dogs must be at least 6 months
This class is a great follow up to the basic class. We begin on the next phase of dog training to gain better control of your dog at a distance with greater distraction criteria. The Canine
Good Citizen (CGC) program is included in the intermediate program.
CGC is a certification program designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the
community and is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership
for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate
from the AKC.
Tricks Class
6 1-Hour Classes $119
Prerequisite: Basic
Training Class by Charleston’s School For Dogs or an approved training
facility. Dogs must be at least 6 months.
This class will cover the field of trick training your dog to do many behaviors that are a little more uncommon than sit or stay. Various tricks are covered throughout the class. We also are able to tailor tricks specifically to you and your dog.
**Current Vaccinations required to attend any class. All classes are limited. Early registration is encouraged.
