Tommy Grammer, Owner and Instructor

Tommy believes that it is crucial to treat your dog with respect in the fact that it is a dog,
not a human. He believes that good dog training starts with learning an effective way to communicate
with your dog. Once a communication system is developed, he then shows why it is beneficial
for the dog to listen to his request.
Tommy has been training dogs professionally for over seven years. He is a member of the
Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the German Shepherd Dog Club of America. He writes
training articles for the Low Country Dog Magazine. He has done demonstrations with his
German Shepherd, Meiko, at Elementary Schools to educate children on dog behavior.
He has been featured on clear channel's 102.5 radio station. He is a consultant for
staffs at local animal shelters on training and behavior modification. He continues to
work with top trainers in the field by way of seminars and workshops.
Tommy has done training for obedience, agility, personal protection, tracking, and
behavior modification. He currently owns two German Shepherd Dogs that answer to Meiko
and Cash.
Tommy invites anyone to call him if they would like to discuss his training philosophies.
He also invites anyone to sit in on a private lesson with a client before enrolling your
dog if you wish.
